Celebrate a new generation of artists and the upcoming expansion of the Kemper Art Museum at the Building the Future party and the opening of the 2018 MFA Thesis Exhibition.

At this last opening reception before the Museum closes for its expansion, join us for special festivities marking this exciting time in the Museum’s history. Enjoy a performance by DJ Agile One, a photo station, and gelato for purchase from Gelato di Riso. 

The 2018 MFA Thesis Exhibition will be on view May 4–21 and features artwork by Jenn Brown, Sloan Brunner, Samuel Carpenter, Xinyue Deng, Yuxuan Ding, Harley Lafarrah Eaves, Cecily Fergeson, JinHee Kim, Jacopo Mazzoni, Andrew McIlvaine, Brent Nakamoto, Charis Schneider Norell, Song Park, Sara Weininger, Riley Millar Williams, Taylor Yocom, Jon Young, and Ron E. Young.
