Thank you for considering the Kemper Art Museum for your special event!

Originally designed by the award-winning architect Fumihiko Maki in 2006 and expanded in 2019 by Kieran Timberlake, the Kemper Art Museum’s distinctive, contemporary space provides a stunning setting for guests.

The Museum's central spaces—the Lobby and Saligman Family Atrium—showcase dramatic works of art and lend themselves perfectly to cocktail receptions and seated dinners. The Museum's galleries remain open during events, providing guests with the unique experience of viewing art in special exhibitions and permanent collection displays.

Please note that the Museum does not have catering facilities, but a small food preparation space is available for use.

Space rentals contribute to the Museum's educational mission. Separate rental rates apply to Washington University departments.
