Island Press, formerly the Washington University School of Art Collaborative Print Workshop, was founded in 1978.
The Kemper Art Museum holds a comprehensive archive of the artistic production from Island Press, a research-based printmaking workshop at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. Founded in 1978, Island Press is committed to creating and publishing innovative prints and multiples, educating students and the broader community about print media, and advancing the printmaking field.
