View parking locations near 560 Music Center here. We anticipate a high demand for parking, so please allow ample time.

Washington University operates a regular shuttle to the 560 Music Center, which is available to faculty, students and staff with a WashU ID. The full shuttle schedule is available here.

Please note that shuttle seating may be limited, given that the Q&A is sold-out. Please plan accordingly.The shuttle runs between the 560 Music Center and Mallinckrodt Center, near the Edison Theatre.

 

Due to an overwhelming response to this event, the venue has been changed to the 560 Music Center (560 Trinity Avenue).


Free and open to the public; tickets required (limit 2). The live event is sold out, but will be livestreamed for remote viewing in Edison Theatre and in Steinberg Auditorium.

Join us for this fall's Bunny and Charles Burson Visiting Artist Lecture, a Q&A with the renowned Chinese dissident artist and activist Ai Weiwei, in conjunction with the exhibition Ai Weiwei: Bare LifeSabine Eckmann, William T. Kemper Director and Chief Curator, will host a conversation on the artist’s wide-ranging practice, including his concern for human rights and the global condition of humanity and his profound engagement with Chinese culture past and present, especially the radical shifts that have characterized China in the new millennium.
