On view October 20–November 6, 2022, in Ann and Andrew Tisch Park of Washington University in St. Louis, Lest We Forget is an exhibition by German-Italian photographer and filmmaker Luigi Toscano comprising more than 90 larger-than-life portraits of Holocaust survivors from Europe, Israel, and the United States, including twelve people from St. Louis.  

This recording of the opening program on October 20, 2022, features special remarks by the artist as well as Erin McGlothlin, professor of German and Jewish Studies in Arts & Sciences at Washington University; Andrew D. Martin, Washington University chancellor; Dee Dee Simon, co-founder of Conversation Builds Character; Rachel Miller, one of the survivors portrayed in the exhibition; and Miriam Silberman, president of Washington University's Student Union.
